Itinerary of the Ladies on Tour motorcycle expedition

Ladies on Tour Day 1: (24.3.2025)
Individual arrival at the Hotel Iguana Verde, Orotina. Transfer from San José airport.
Welcome to Costa Rica, the Switzerland of Central America. You will be picked up at the airport and taken to our hotel in Orotina.

Ladies on Tour Day 2: (25.3.2025)
After breakfast, the participants are picked up at the hotel and taken to our location in Limonal de Orotina. There is a briefing about the tour and a first meeting of the group and assignment of the motorcycles. After the formalities, we can set off. Our first stage takes us along a beautiful winding road. Here you can try out the motorcycles and get to know them. The route is not demanding and ideal for getting used to the new bikes. We spend the second night near the Pacific beach in Quepos. The first yoga lesson awaits us at the end of our first day.

Ladies on Tour Day 3: (26.3.2025)
In Costa Rica, it gets light at 5.30 in the morning, so we take advantage of this and enjoy a Pilates lesson in the early hours. The Cerro de la Muerte is the highest point in Costa Rica that can be reached by motorcycle. At 3,454 meters, it is also the highest point on the Panamericana. It gets very cold here. An overnight stay in the mountains of Costa Rica in the Quetzal National Park.

Ladies on Tour Day 4: (27.3.2025)
Early in the morning, we enjoy the birdsong and set off in search of the famous quetzal before our Pilates lesson. Today's road takes us through the two volcanoes Irazu and Turrialba. A stop at the foot of Turrialba offers a unique view of two volcanoes at the same time. To the right and to the left. Before it gets dark again at around 5.30 pm, we arrive at our accommodation, Casa Tucan & Camping. The yoga lesson loosens our muscles so that we are fit for dinner together after a shower.

Ladies on Tour Day 5: (28.3.2025)
After breakfast, we grab our bikes and head towards the Caribbean. After the stretches of natural roads up to now, a section of the Interamericana gives us that highway feeling. Beautiful beach roads allow us to immerse ourselves in another world. Jamaican influences characterize the culture on this side of Costa Rica.

Ladies on Tour Day 6: (29.3.2025)
Pilates on the beach, that's the way to live. Then breakfast with the sea breeze is nice too. After breakfast we go to the Jaguar Rescue Center and take part in a 1 1/2 hour guided tour. A short walk along the beach brings us to our local lunch. After a digestive break, we take to the water. A kayak tour with a local guide opens up the rivers of Costa Rica and shows us a different view of the country's animals. Back at the hotel, everyone goes their own way and we meet up again at the agreed time for yoga.

Ladies on Tour Day 7: (30.3.2025)
Today we continue early in the morning, we have a long drive ahead of us. From Puerto Viejo de Limon to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui. This route is a real gem of nature and adventure.

Ladies on Tour Day 8: (31.3.2025) The winding road leads through the central highlands, past coffee and banana plantations and breathtaking viewpoints. The fresh mountain air and the varied landscape make this section a highlight.

Ladies on Tour Day 9: (1.4.2025) At the Pandanus Retreat (alcohol-free and vegan), we treat ourselves to a day in between where we can go to the thermal baths, to La Fortuna or do another activity.

Ladies on Tour Day 10: (2.4.2025) This stage takes us through rivers along Lake Arenal. If you've never crossed a river before, don't worry, our guide will help you. We'll end the day with yoga sessions overlooking the tropical nature.

Ladies on Tour Day 11: (3.4.2025) The descent to the coast offers a variety of road sections - from paved roads to nature trails that will make any adventurer's heart beat faster. You will discover breathtaking viewpoints along the way. After an exciting drive, you will reach Sámara, a relaxed beach paradise on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The expansive sandy beach, turquoise waters and relaxed atmosphere. We do our exercises with a view of the sunset.

Ladies on Tour Day 12: (4.4.2025) Samara invites you to take part in various activities. This day is at leisure. We will be happy to help you book a boat tour, quad tour or similar.

Ladies on Tour Day 13: (5.4.2025) From Sámara, the route leads through tropical forests, past secluded beaches and small fishing villages. Winding sections and occasional off-road passages provide variety and a real sense of adventure.

Ladies on Tour Day 14: (6.4.2025) After an adventurous ride along the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, the ferry takes you from Paquera to Puntarenas - a relaxed and picturesque way back to our starting point in Orotina.

Ladies on Tour Day 15: (7.4.2025) After an unforgettable motorcycle tour through Costa Rica, it's time to say goodbye on the last day. After the last night in Orotina, we will take you comfortably to San José Airport (SJO) or, if you wish, to another destination if you would like to extend your vacation.
