Discover the South Pacific paradise of Costa Rica by motorcycle:
From pristine beaches to the fascinating Drake Bay.
This unique tour takes you through lush rainforests, picturesque villages and offers not only technical motorcycle challenges, but also the opportunity to experience authentic Costa Rica. Explore the rugged coastlines, hidden treasures and create unforgettable memories on this unique journey. This trip is a challenge for every driver. Here you will encounter all road conditions from easy to difficult. Where other tours focus on must-dos, here the focus is clearly on driving.

Itinerary:
Day 1:Arrival at the airport, pick-up by us and transfer to the hotel for the first night. Our motorcycles do not have side bags or suitcases as standard equipment. We can provide these on request, including duffel bags. We will give you what you need straight away so that you can repack at the hotel the morning before your trip.

Day 2: Pick-up at the hotel to the motorcycle handover point. Welcome and general information about the tour. Handover and packing of the motorcycles. Departure to the first destination Quepos. On the way we visit a tobacco factory.

Day 3: It gets light here at 5.30 am. Those who wish can enjoy a walk on the beach before breakfast. The motorcycle tour from Quepos to Drake Bay is an exciting adventure through impressive landscapes and along paradisiacal coastal roads. The route leads through the Manuel Antonio National Park and along secluded beaches. After an exciting drive we reach Drake Bay, a remote paradise with pristine beaches and abundant wildlife. The total travel time is approximately 6 to 8 hours, depending on road conditions and stops along the way.

Day 4: A day in Corcovado National Park makes us forget the exertions of the previous day. Corcovado National Park is a true natural paradise of exceptional beauty and biodiversity. This protected area of over 424 square kilometers is home to a wealth of rare animal and plant species, including tapirs, jaguars and harpy eagles.

Day 5: The route from Drake Bay to San Vito de Dota leads through a fascinating landscape of lush rainforests and picturesque mountain roads. Along the way you pass charming villages and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. After leaving the coastal region, the route leads through the valley of San Isidro de El General and then on to San Vito de Dota, a picturesque mountain village known for its coffee production and natural beauty.

Day 6: We stay another night here to discover the breathtaking nature around San Vito de Dota by motorcycle! We discover lush coffee plantations, spectacular mountain landscapes and diverse wildlife on remote natural roads. We ride down to the border with Panama on challenging roads. An adventurous day on the motorcycle awaits us.

Day 7: The ride takes you through an impressive landscape of mountain trails and tropical valleys. Enjoy the picturesque views of the mountains and lush vegetation along the way. Along the way we pass charming villages and have the opportunity to sample local delicacies. The route offers an unforgettable adventure for motorcycle enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Today we ride back to the starting point and spend the night again at the Hotel Iguana Verde in Orotina.

Day 8: We will pick you up at the hotel at the agreed time and take you to the airport or a pre-arranged location to say goodbye.

In general, activities can be booked in addition, charged separately or exchanged, then the difference will be charged.
No money will be refunded for activities not attended.

Not sure what to bring? In general, we have everything you need for motorcycling here. However, we still recommend that you bring your own helmet. In the usually warm temperatures, we recommend protective vests and knee pads. Rain is to be expected here even in the dry season. So if you don't like getting wet, you should bring rain protection.
